Operation of agricultural machinery significantly influences the economic profitability of crop management. First of all, the fuel consumption, machines and operators workload, control of performed treatments and the environmental effects such as reducing the risk of deterioration of soil physical properties.
OpenTransportNet (OTN) is a place where you can find transport related datasets that are free, harmonised and ready to use. OTN data is available in three formats (kml, wms and geoJSON) and covers several thematic areas, including traffic accidents, traffic volumes, road segments, transport modes, transport infrastructure, natural disasters and various points of interest. Most datasets are related to the four pilot cities – Antwerp, Birmingham, Issy-les-Moulineax and Liberec – but there are also some that are linked to other cities as well, for example Prague. To make the most of OTN data we recommend that you use our special data analysis and visualisation tools: WebGLayer and OpenTransportMap. Read on to find out more about them as well as how to access OTN data.
SensLog is an integrated solution for sensor networks. SensLog consists of data model and server-side application which is capable to store, analyse and publish data in various ways. SensLog receives measured data from nodes or gateways, stores data properly in the database, pre-processes for easier queries if desired and then publishes data through the system of web-services. SensLog is suitable for sensor networks with static sensors (e.g. meteorological stations) as well as for mobile sensors (e.g. tracking of vehicles, human-as-sensor).
Join us on MedHack in Patras http://www.medhackathon.eu/ personally and remotely to help us start activity Open Tourist Destination Management. Register on MedHack and become member of team.
Join us on MedHack http://www.medhackathon.eu/ and join us with building system supporting active tourism. As part of SDI4Apps Smart Tourist Data activities http://sdi4apps.eu/project-information/pilot-applications/pilot-2-open-smart-tourist-data/ we are developing RDF database http://sdi4apps.eu/spoi/. We offer now also Open API for collection of voluntary information http://sdi4apps.eu/2016/04/opensensorsnetwork-pilot-senslog-api-version-1-0-is-open/ . We prepare also libraries supporting easy search and analysis of data http://sdi4apps.eu/2016/04/s4a-js-1-0-simple-solutions-to-well-known-problems/ . We would like invite all Regionals development agencies, travel agencies, developers and creative designers to come and try to help to build set of Apps and solutions supporting active and sustainable tourism.
What is Open Land Use? You can learn more here http://sdi4apps.eu/project-information/pilot-applications/pilot-4-open-land-use-map-through-vgi/ and here https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/open-land-use-karel-charvat?trk=pulse_spock-articles. Till now main focus was on preparing data for different countries and extend the concept of Open Land Use. This will continue to cover all Europe and could be more.
SPOI is now one from biggest World Wide databases of Point of Interest in RDF. See http://sdi4apps.eu/spoi/ and http://sdi4apps.eu/project-information/pilot-applications/pilot-2-open-smart-tourist-data/. We would like now make possible for local stakeholders update and manage their data and use this data for their purposes.
In Open Transport Map – Data Model and Traffic Volume https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/open-transport-map-data-model-traffic-volume-karel-charvat was described Open Transport Map data model and also existing data sets of Open Transport Map for Europe http://opentransportmap.info/ During MedHack http://www.medhackathon.eu/ we would like developed VGI tools based on SensLog API http://sdi4apps.eu/2016/04/opensensorsnetwork-pilot-senslog-api-version-1-0-is-open/. We are planning also build RDF model for OTM and interlinked data with Smart Point of Interests http://sdi4apps.eu/spoi/.
